The Radnor Rooms Bristol Summer Wedding Flowers

Summer 2022

Jess & James

Summer 2022

Bristol

I am so excited to share with you Jess and James’ wedding flowers from their amazing day at The Radnor Rooms Bristol.

Jess and James were married in June and their wedding day was full of seasonal flowers. So many summer flowers of all colours filled their day.

I love working with non traditional wedding flowers and vibrant coloured flowers, so this wedding was a dream. Photography by the amazing Hana Dalimore .

“Thankyou so much we absolutely loved the flowers and what you did. It was so nice and felt so lovely working with you everything was absolutely perfect!!”
Jess and James

As a Bristol Florist I work at lots of unique venues in the city and The Radnor Rooms is a gorgeous hidden gem.

After our first consultation with Jess and James I felt like I had known them forever…a lovely couple and I totally got their vision from the off. We talked through their style, vibe and colour choice and they left the rest to me.

As a lover of vintage and art deco, when Jess said she was sourcing coloured vintage art deco vases……I was even more excited!

We worked with a vibrant palette, relaxed and whimsical with a lot of colour for a wild flower summer wedding vibe.

Jess has beautiful original style, her dress was exquisite with lace embroidered with florals. She also has lots of amazing tattoos and I loved the combination of them with her delicate style dress. Jess’ favourite colour is orange and we used this heavily through all of the bridal party flowers, ceremony flowers and reception flowers.

Jess’ bridal bouquet was designed in a hand tied style. It was filled with bright blue delphiniums, mustard achillea,  pink dahlias and lots of scented foliage and grasses. The perfume was gorgeous and it was finished with trailing power blue velvet ribbon

The ceremony room was filled with seasonal colourful flowers. An asymmetrical flower arch framed the head of the aisle. We also  created a floral meadow staircase.

We used seasonal flowers of blousy indigo hydrangeas, frilly sunshine chrysanthemums, orange and peach snapdragons, raspberry pink roses and honey sand sea lavender!

Goodness me I adore working with colour and the happy joy it evokes! Such a delight to bring the gorgeous couple Jess & James’ vision to life

Flower Arch

The wedding ceremony room at The Radnor Rooms in Bristol is gorgeous. With a high celling adorned with a canopy of twinkling fairy lights , wooden floors and huge windows . We scattered the coloured art deco vases on all the window sills and fireplaces. These were then moved to all the guest tables for the reception afterwards. I always recommend re purposing your wedding ceremony flowers to your reception to make the most out of them,

We used posies of vibrant flowers tied on to the chairs. These pew ends were attached with bright orange ribbons which trailed to the floor.

Jess had seven bridesmaids who wore gorgeous dresses in shades of blue. They carried smaller and simpler versions of the Bridal bouquet, which added further vibrant colour and beautiful harmony to the wedding photos.

The buttonholes and corsages were created with pink spray roses and tied with bright blue and green velvet ribbon.

The ceremony flowers were moved to the top table for the reception and the arch was moved to the outside terrace area.
